I get a lot of questions about alternators, so I figured I'd document what I have learned about the difference between the Cobra and non-Cobra alternators and wiring harnesses.
In the GT (or V6), the voltage feedback to the regulator is carried from an alternator 1-pin connector via a White/Black wire to the middle pin on the three connector alternator connector that is unused on a Cobra.
In a Cobra alternator, that wire is internal to the alternator, so it is not in the harness and there is no 1-pin connector on the Cobra alternator:
