And the beat goes on.  There's an advert on the current (6/08) Hemmings Motor News website for what is described as a "1967 Sunbeam Tiger Mk. II, Black Beauty...".  Regardless of the claims, the car is not a "factory" built Sunbeam Tiger.  It is in blunt terms a FAKE.  Registry records (dated 3/92) had this machine in Lakeworth, Florida.  There is also a note that the selling agent (Heritage Classics in Beverly Hills, California) was somehow involved with this car in January of 2001 - possibly its sale to someone in Southern California.  Needless to say, I'm advising EXTREME CAUTION .
